Personal Injury Verdict | Crane Operator Awarded $1.45 Million

A King county jury awarded a former crane operator, Warren Yeakey, $1.45 million for injures he allegedly suffered due to the collapse of a construction crane in Bellevue, Washington. Due to the collapse, Mr. Yeakey was found to be 100 percent disabled by the Department of Labor & Industries. However, evidence also indicated that Mr. Yeakey returned to light-duty status at work after the collapse.

After hearing evidence, the jury determined that Mr. Yeakly was to be awarded $1.15 million in economic damages and $300,000 in noneconomic damages.
